Happy Sunday!!
Im actually trying the new blogger app that allows me to blog from my tablet instead of using my laptop for the first time. By doing so, i think i'll blog more (since people said my blog asyik berhabuk je takde update). Here goes my first try!
Today i woke up as usual and had my shower and all and while i was getting ready to use my usual toiletries, i noticed that my hair spray bottle is already empty and dry. And im like... Shittttttttttttt!! I forgot to buy a new one!
Well, im not sure about u girls out there but i dont wash my hair everyday. I wash it on alternate days, meaning if i already washed it yesterday, i normally wont wash my hair today (unless it gets very oily today or if ive been using too many styling products on my hair yesterday). Reason why is because i have a very light and thin hair. Each strand is so light it can break very easily. If i wash it daily, my hair will break, gets frizzy, becomes very very dry and the amount of hair fall is enough to make my jaw drop and ridiculous thoughts keep coming in like, do i have a cancer? Yes, i am very the paranoid like that. Lol.
Like today, i didnt wash my hair. I put it up in a bun when showering so that it doesnt get wet. But the thing about not washing your hair is that your hair would be flat and sometimes it can smell like it's just got out of the bed. I dont want that. When i let my hair down just now, it was so nice, perfect volume and easy to manage. My daily routine is to spray some hair spritzer on it to make my hair feels fresh, nice smell and so that it wont detangles and easily managed.
But the bottle is empty shit.
Even though i could skip the spritzer and apply the leave on conditioner, it just feels weird. Not right. Something's missing. Just like how you feel when you forgot to use your deodorant everyday.
So ive decided not to let it go. I dont have time to run to the store and buy a new spritzer. In fact, when to think about it again, i've been spending a lot on hair products every month. It costs a lot for a bottle of water. Why not just look up for alternative method, or better yet if it's something i can make my own, right?
Then i did what everyone does all the time when they needed something. Google it.
Voila! Simple, easy and cost efficient! DIY hair spritzer! I just need a bottle, water and conditioner. Some of the sites show that it's better if you use coconut oil or any essential oil. I hate coconut oil's smell. It'll make my hair smells like pariah women. But no doubt it's good for hair. I thought about using my hair treatment droplets. But i ran out of it too. Some put sugar in it and alcohol too. Im just too lazy to google the damage it'll do to my hair so i passed that. There are other things they recommend to use like lemon, honey, etc. I dont have time to find those thing in my housr. I wont even find it if i tried. So im gonna stick to the first 3.
You can see all the hair products i use below. Besides normal hair spray (i hate wax because it's too sticky), i have another spray Lucidol Hair Curl Lotion that i use before blow dry my hair with a hair dryer or using a curling thong. It protects the hair from direct heat. Very useful.
I carry that sunsilk leave on conditioner in my bag everywhere i go because sometimes with the upredictable heat in kl, the direct sun over exposure to my hair makes it very dry and i can really feel my head burning from the heat!
The other best hair care i found that beats the shit out of expensive brands is that Himalaya hair protein. If you think that you're balding, use this. It kinda speed up the growth of my hair. So fast that i found it hard to believe at first.
tak masuk lagi yang berpuluh2 dalam toilet..
always in the bag
no shit this thing helps to speed up hair growth!
bottle, water, conditioner
using back the old bottle
preeeettttttttttt!! squeeeezeeee! but not too much or it'll get greasy.
it looks kinda cool eh?
