i had a busy start this year. like any other agencies, the beginning of the year is full of brand plans for all the campaigns that will be kicking off soon. we had meetings and presentations almost every fucking day and worked late til midnight to do strategic planning for the campaigns. everyday we have to do brainstorming (which is exhausting) and develop new concepts and ideas for all the products and advertising campaign througout 2011. it's crazy hectic as we have to come out with a big band and present it to clients. what makes it harder is when our ideas are rejected because our client dont even know their direction for this year. when we propose a concept, they would like it at first... but when it comes to next detailed presentation, suddenly they change their minds and wanted something else. kau tau tak penat nya nak fikir satu creative idea with details and then kena come out with another one and another one and another one by overnight? sigh.
ok enough about work because blogging about it je dah buat i stress and penat.

my brother dah selamat engaged to his girlfriend kat penang last week. majlis went well. only a few family members from our side went to penang because yang lain2 semua busy. i'm not surprised because gf abang pun orang kampung. we handled it well there, surprisingly. but ada la incidents yang agak memalukan when my cousins asked for cutleries to eat because the girl's family hidang food yang makan pakai tangan. menyampah gila aku dengan cousins aku ni. makan je la pakai tangan bodoh! dah nama pun kampung. haihhhhh. my 2 year old nephew tu pun tak reti makan pakai tangan! i was quite embarrassed with their behaviour, but what the hell. lantak la diorang.

me and H just celebrated our 2 years anniversary last Friday! we made it twooooo yeaaarrssss dude! wish us happy together with many more years to come! hihi.
for our special day (4th Feb), H applied leave for it months ago. turned out that a week before, he found out that his application was rejected. i was so furious about it and H was panicking. so on monday, he went to see his manager and asked for explaination about it. she said, the date is on CNY... thus, the chinese are more of priority to get their off day on that date. make sense la kan. so H went back to his desk.... and returned after lunch to talk again with his manager. "Ms _____, I know 4th of Feb is CNY. but i'm not asking a leave on that day because i want to celebrate CNY or for fun. 4th Feb is a special date for me. Every year i will take leave on the same date because of it. It is so special and it means a lot to me. It just happened to fall on CNY this year. So please help me with this". when H told me this, i felt like fainting. that is soooo sweeeet of him to stand up for our annvsry and for us! i have no idea he'll do that since he's the type yang... ok tak dapat tu tak dapat la. easily let go. hehe. that's y i love him so much!
he got the off day. me and h spent our anniversary - the old folks style. haha. we didnt do anything much but we had a great time together.
okay another good news. end of last year we started house hunting. H wanted to buy a house or apartment.. anything he can afford for us, and future investment. last month, we finally find the one we both like. it's a townhouse apartment in kota damansara. the place is okay la... not bad. right around our budget and very nice.
we went to see the house together with the agent. then H brought his mom to see the house, 2 days after that. and just like that, after 3 days, H paid the booking fee and now the house is ours! we're still settling the loan and stuff i dont know but if everything goes well, we can get the keys in couple of months time. everything is sooooo fasttttt! i cant believe it as well. we have a house! lepas ni kawin tak yah pening2 lagi dah nak duduk rumah mak siapa. hahahahaha. well, technically, it's H's house. cos he's the one paying everything. i'm just playing my part in furnishing the house and deco stuff. haha.
i have been searching for good interior ideas so if you guys know any good sites, please let me know. i'm still clueless. i dont even know what colour should we paint the house! it's a small unit, so we can't use dark colours. haih. pening gila dah ni. we have to re-do the toilets... flooring... lighting... ok basically everything. the house is just the way it was built. meaning, no one has ever stayed there because the owner bought it for investment. so it's totally a brand new unit.
