Honeymoon Part 1

we went to phuket for our honeymoon. a lot of people wonder... why phuket? why not europe or bali? here's the thing. when we were deciding where to go, we figured that the honeymoon should be a close, intimate, relaxing vacation like we never had. so europe, us, or any other tourist attractions are totally a no-go. we dont want to be rushing here and there, get tired during the day with no time spend in the hotel, heck we dont even get to enjoy the hotel and might probably fall asleep after touring the whole day. so we decided to go to a beach instead!

bali is beautiful, no doubt about that. but i have been to bali for 4 freaking times already. in fact, the last trip to bali was with h and a couple of friends. so why not trying somewhere else that we haven't been right? then we were contemplating whether to go to phuket or krabi. we had a brainstorming about these 2 places. people said, krabi is the best. but we chose phuket instead. this is because we planned to spend our honeymoon for a week. basically krabi is nice but u'll be dead after the 4th day there. i need places with lots of food options, entertainment, somewhere 'happening'. one week is a long time to spend at a place u know.

the honeymoon was a blast! i enjoyed every second of my stay there. we checked in a reallyyy beautiful cliff-side hotel overlooking the sea. perfect view! i'd totally recommend this hotel to everyone. it's a bit far from the town though (about 5km). the taxi fare from hotel to the town is RM50 per trip! they said because it's up the hill that why it's expensive. luckily, h and i had quite a big pocket when were there (thanks to our parents who gave us lots of cash). if i knew they'd give us that much money, i'd plan a trip to maldives instead. hahaha.

it was unfortunate for us that we went there during their low season = meaning rainy season. the first 3 days it was raining really bad from morning til the next morning. non stop! we can only go to indoor places. but we managed to find some entertainment during the days so it wasnt that bad.
