what's inside your big bag?

all those things i carry everywhere, must have it with me no matter what!

1. Purse - after my paris hilton completely unusable, i dont bother buying new one. this is my mom's purse i'm "borrowing" for a short while.

2. Name card case - currently using the one my account director bought from japan.

3. Sunnies - both by cotton on. love the case but i'm looking for new shades.

4. Wet wipes - yes. all the time. i always need it

5. Coin purse - a gift from my boss too, from LA.

6. Wax for braces - just in case my braces feel sharper and continue hurting my inner cheek

7. Compact powder - i can't stand oily face

8. Makeup bag - actually the most important things are my eyeliner (i'd die if i go out without it), brush and blusher, my fav MAC lipstick, benefits That Gal primer. i don't really bother the rest inside of the stuff inside that bag. special occasion only but i still carry them all the time.

9. hair clip - you just dont know when you need it. i need it when i can't stand my hair blocking my face while eating. hihi.

what's inside yours?

family gathering

Last weekend my cousins organized a so-called family day for us in Cherating. A gathering whereby almost all of the families attended. No parents. Just cousins, their spouses and children.

My mother has 10 siblings (including her). So when they are married, it doubled up to 20. Then the families got bigger with average 3-4 kids per family. I have a damn big family I tell you. If you think that I’m too talkative and loud, please feel free to meet them. You will be shocked (promise).

Our family is divided into few groups. We have 1- the grownups (married with children) 2- young adults (like me and my age group cousins) 3- teenagers (highschool and below). Basically we have our own ‘entourage’. We don’t get along so well with the other groups but this family day thing really bring people together. It really made our bond stronger. we have a lawyer, engineer, pilot, accountant, entrepreneur... u name it.

The trip is amazing. We have our own t-shirts! The program includes beach games, bbq dinner, best dressed awards, prizes, lucky draw and many more. And a lot of fun! No parents, so everyone was allowed to smoke freely especially the married ones. You’ll be surprised to find that all of my grownup cousins (women) are smoking lot more than us youth.

it was a really fun trip.

i'm a geek

hohohoho. i dah pakai braces! and i look stupid! i cant smile properly, talk properly, and i'm really having a hard time to chew my foooood!

the first day i wear my braces i was mentally down the whole fucking day. i cried and got all sensitive about everything! i regretted wearing braces then. now that it's been few days already i think i will adapt and get used to it soon.

world's premier - weirdest smile ever

pangkor trip

oh weeeeeeeee!!!

i'm going to pangkor on my birthday which is in just 2 weeks timeeee! me and H booked a villa at pangkor island beach resort. the villa costs us 900 a night. oh god, i hope it worth our trip and stay there. if not, i'll sure burn the resort down. huhu.

holiday mood - ON!

bandung trip

so a week after sabah, i joined my family on our trip to bandung. the whole purpose of going there was to buy wedding prep stuff for my brother. i ended up wasting half a billion of my money (eceh) on nonsense stuff. beli kain sampai 10 helai taktau nak buat apa. sampai orang yg jual tu ingat it's gonna be my wedding (some thought i'm the bride and kacau abang i... jeeeez! incest!).

it was a short trip too. but anyway, i think the trip was a good idea in bringing the family together. but it still doesnt change the fact that im annoyed with my brother's fiance. semua barang kau pau mak aku. nak hantar kain pegi tailor pun pau lagi. reception semua pau. urghhhhh! dah tau kau tu budak kampung... buat la macam kampung sikit kan. ada ke patut, nak buat banyak2 reception. imagine, my side je ada 2 receptions - black tie and traditional. total of guests to invite - 1K! kalah erra fazira kawin kau ni kan? kau yang lebih2 pulak kat reception side kitorang. amboiiiiiii!!!! nak ajak ramai2, pegi la ajak diorang gi kampung kau tu. semak kat side kitorang buat pe?

whatever, i dont intend to interfere with their wedding because obviously i dont give a shit. biar la if mummy nak bayar everything. her money, not mine.

sabah trip

hieeeeeeeeeee!!!

i've been really busy lately! sorry for the delay!

ok, lemme start with the most recent events. first event: on 14th of may, my company organized a company trip to sabah. we stayed at Magellian, Sutera Harbour Resort. initially the company wanted to stay at karambunai, but since the place is quite far from town (meaning, we'll only be staying in the hotel) thus, company decided to change it to sutera harbour.

i fell in love with that place. seriously, just staying in the hotel is enough for me. no need for island hopping or city tour shit. it's a damn big, luxurious resort i've ever stayed at. it has over 1000+ rooms and 3 big swimming pools for every block of hotels.

it was a damn tiring 'vacation'. everyday we had to wake up damn early. every hour there's always things to do. rush here and there. our free and easy time is limited to 1 hour only. besides the sightseeing, beach activities, island hopping... we have assignments and presentations to do as part of the team building itinerary. gua pancit ok pegi sana.

pancit2 pun we still go to their local clubs there every night (dont want to miss the scene right?). in fact, the last night we were there, we went partying at an after party club there until 5 in the morning! the next day, all of us came late to the briefing. haha.

overall i must say, i would love to go to sabah again and stay at sutera harbour (and never go out from the hotel!).

the harbour at our hotel. island hopping.

one of the assignments

me and E share a room. our balcony is facing the garden.

one of the pools

MAS delayed 2 hours going back to KL. hmp.

after beach games at sapi island

si tanabe ni dah mabik party sampai pukul 5! ish ish ish

hawaiian night la konon

oh clear water i fell in love with!

the hair! the hair!

have you seen this billboard when you were driving or stuck in the traffic?

that's me.

but only the hair part. bahahahaha.

here's the story. we conduct this photoshoot last month. the talent (Summer) has a shoulder length hair. we started shooting from 6 in the morning! but around 7pm, client decided that they dont like her fake extension hair. it doesnt look natural la... buruk la... and many many more comments about the hair.

we've been arguing for over an hour about THE HAIR! hello, since 6am you didnt say anything. suddenly after 1 whole day, you just noticed that! grrrr

so.. we were screwed. how can we find a new extension hair at that peak hour and to get back to the photoshoot? the studio rent is only for a day (8K a day!). extending the time means extra charge.

the team had no choice but to drag me in. since i am the only person with long hair... i have to cover that shots for client. so i spent an hour (only) taking shots of my hair with the help of our studio team to make it work. they used fans, many types of fans... big, small, high, low... i had to stand up, sit down, lay on a bench, climb a ladder, so many actions just to get the perfect effect and flow of the hair. it was damn tiring. hundreds of shots were taken just to get a perfect hair shot.

so when i drive pass the billboards, i cant help myself from smiling and think about the photoshoot day. haha.

k bye.
