Old Trafford

My mother just bought my dearest baby brother a return flight ticket for a 6-nights stay just to watch the MU match at Old Trafford, this december. Surprisingly, he will be going there ALONE. my cousins there will look after him when he arrives london.

i'm so jealous. it looks as if Malaysia and UK is like kl to sunway. can simply send a boy there, watch football then come back. pfffftttttt.

and i already bought tickets to langkawi!!!

life is so unfair. sobs.

Big Bad Wolf

oh em geeee!

last weekend i bought a whole big box of books from the Big Bad Wolf. i swear if my bank account is still full, i would spend all my money on them! what a good bargain! the books are as low as 5bucks!

i feel sad because i had to put aside about half of the books i intend to buy (money problem). so i ended up choosing only the ones that matters instead. those i put behind mostly biographies (madonna, elvis, rolling stones, led zeplin), graphic novels, more vampire novels, chick flick, oh an not to forget.... robert pattinson's fan book (sealed with plastic wrap!).

thankfully A & Y accompanied me to the fair. i wouldve gone around the whole peninsular malaysia to find this place. hello organizer, not everyone knows the inside road of UPM ya. oh i went there on saturday, apparently there was a convocation going on in there too. it was damn packed with people going to big bad wolf and families going to the convo. but i must say, the campus is quite nice. but the moment u see the security guards, ah... there u go. typical gov uni.

novels i bought for myself, mostly from authors I've read before.

graphic novels for my babyyyyyy!!!

a few transformers and other stories for my cartoon-comic-superheroes-anime fanatic boyfriend.

a few design books for myself. sadly advertising and marketing books mostly sold out.

new year plan

i can't believe i bought flight tickets to langkawi after a 10mins casual talk about celebrating new year in langkawi again. haiyoooooooooo!!

last 2 years, it was well planned. this time is a joke. seriously? we talked about missing langkawi and just like that, we straight away bought the flight tickets.

i dont know if it's going to be a blast. i dont know who else going. i dont know if it's going to be as havoc and as happening as last 2 years. whatever it is, we bought without thinking. i'm already starting to feel stupid.

i hope it turns out well. if it's not gonna be a blast with friends, at least i hope it's going to be a memorable one with loverboy.

haih. beli tak fikir dulu cani la jadi.

pfftt

the worst part of having a bf working on shift schedule is when you have to stay at home alone with bad flu on sunday because boyfie works til midnight!

Taste in Men

Yesterday, I went out with a close friend of mine doing all those girly stuff (well, mostly shopping and gossiping). we talked about our boyfriends and how funny when life changes your direction you least expected. my friend has a really high taste in men. she prefers erm, mat salleh la basically. she dated so many expatriates, from all over the world... enjoyed their company, in fact she thinks malay guys suck. she prefers smart guys, mature, tall, handsome, bonus if there's an accent... and she cant see it in our guys. haha. well, after years and years dating them... she finally fall for a malay guy, whom she now describes as "the one". well, you know when you think you have finally met the one, it means the relationship is fucking serious.

and it made me wonder. H is nothing like my type of guy (except the fact that he's tall. ha ha). i have always been interested in skinny, taller than me and fair-skinned guys. not that H is fat but he is not skinny enough. hard to explain when it comes to skinny. but what i know is i never liked guys with mustache and beard, like him. seriously. i used to asked my close friends to shave when they grow their hair a bit more than usual. i hate it. it makes them look, messy. and what i loveeee the most is the shy ones. the more you don't want to talk to me, the more attracted i am to you. haha. i like teasing them. i find that shy personality in a person is very very attractive. you know, those who barely speaks, smile all the time, couldn't make eye contact more than 2 seconds. yeap, i love these guys.

when i shared this with my friend, we both laughed at our own taste in men and how'd it turn upside down to a totally opposite direction AND IT WORKS BETTER. we can't fight the fate though. she used to have a serious relationship with this mat salleh guy. it was promising a future she's been dreaming of. but then the guy had to leave country. everything fell apart for her. dream crushed. hope destroyed. just like that. i feel sorry for her and i understand it very well. i used to have a long, serious, happy relationship that i thought would have a happy ending. i really thought he was the one, he was my everything, that i would do anything in the world just to be with him. well, i feel sorry for myself for thinking that way. i should have gotten out of the relationship earlier when things started to get ugly. nevertheless, it had taught me a lot in relationship. no matter how much you love that someone, never put yourself that low, so humiliating and stupid. it taught me to stand up for myself and be a better person. never to be treated like a dog again. ever. fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.

i never knew where my relationship with h would go to but i am grateful and happier at the moment. i dont want to get my hopes so high like last time. i dont want to expect something so big that might fail me and break me up into pieces again. i am just going to where ever this relationship going to take me to and cherish this moment. who knows, if i dont end up forever with h, there might be a better life ahead (even if i dont want to think about it that way). cant stay negative all the time when a relationship fails, dont i?

guys out there, respect women the way they are. ladies, stand up for your rights.

New glasses

Did you know that I have short-sighted vision? I can't see or focus on distant objects. My power for both eyes are already reaching 400. Actually, I think since I wore contact lens, my power did not increase as much as back then when I used to wear glasses in school (oh yes, i really looked like a geek).

I've worn contact lens since I was 16. Eversince, I feel that contact lens actually good for controlling my vision from getting worse. When I was 5 years old, I had to undergo eyes surgery because apparently I was born without tear tubes which makes my eyes teary all the time. Everyone has that 'piping' system for your tears to run and circulate inside you but I don't have that pipe... which results to teary eyes for 5 years until my parents noticed that problem. Basically everyone around me were curious, why is this girl crying all the time? When the fact that I didnt cry. My eyes just full with tears (ok you guys should be thinking that my eyes are tearing like hell dripping all over my face. no, it's just watery. like when you're just done with crying and your eyes get really wet. that's that).

After the surgery, i had to go see my eye specialist from monthly to annually til i turn 12. I hate going there. They made me do eye tests and sometimes they had to inject me in the corner of my inner eye (where i can see the needle just in front of my eye!). I had to take a lot of liquid medicines that tasted like water blended panadols. euw euw!

I started wearing glasses since I was 10. My vision got every year. Sometimes I had to change my glasses twice a year (oh my dad was so tired of it already). And then i learned about contact lens when i was 16 from my supervisor where i worked part-time job at (toys'rús).

Now I need new pair of glasses because the current one that I have already jahanam. I dont wear glasses that often now, only when I'm home. But I still need it in case my contact lens goes missing at critical times (which happens all the time).

I'm liking the 50's cat eye glasses... but i think it's kinda look a bit too much (poser). BUT I JUST LOVEEEEEE IT! i'm still googling the glasses shapes now. Any better idea? Check out Kelly osboune's glasses. It sooooo adorable!!!
